Curated by Emma Elizabeth and presented by Local Design, LOST HiDE explores design as a cultural force shaping how we live and imagine the future. Drawing on international experience, including past Milan curations, the exhibition champions Australian designers through a conceptually driven and material-led practice.

 

Leather is reimagined not as decoration but as a vehicle for experimentation, narrative and transformation. Featuring bespoke and limited-edition works, it utilises overlooked upholstery leathers kindly supplied by Swiss Design to aid the blurring of art and design. Aligning with themes of innovation, future thinking and cultural legacy, the show positions contemporary Australian design as reflective, progressive and globally engaged across past, present and future dialogues.
