Gallery Sally Dan-Cuthbert proudly presents The Sky We Share by Netherlands-based artist duo Rive Roshan. 

The Sky We Share expands on the acclaimed artists’ ongoing exploration of “ordinary miracles” – the unexpected, extraordinary moments that exist in the day-to-day.

Through innovative glass marquetry techniques, the pair debut Windows, a new series of intricate artworks inspired by moments they observed from their Amsterdam home and studio when water met sky. These painting-like works capture the ephemeral effects of light and atmosphere, much like the ambition of the 19th-century impressionists.

Alongside Windows, Rive Roshan’s Radiance Tables and sculptural Voices Vessels are also presented. The Vessels, 3D-printed in sand and painstakingly hand-painted by the artists, are conceived as part of a universal “pursuit of freedom” – their abstracted feminine forms positioned before the Windows, seemingly reaching for the endless horizons within.

Over the past decade, Rive Roshan has garnered an international following thanks to works that combine ethereal aesthetics, poetic narratives, and technical innovation. Their pieces play with form, colour, light, and reflection to mimic and abstract their environments, evoking a sense of curiosity and wonder.
