colours of 1950s optimism, the faded beauty of these modular components are engraved with a patina formed from repetitive rhythm
of everyday life. These ice trays recall the time of manufacture and the standardisation of the assembly line at a particular time of seemingly endlessness plenty. The landscape of muted colour recalls the fading light of sundown while the reuse of the obsolescence hints at the finiteness of materials and things, and the value of reimagining.
