Melbourne-based fibre artist and weaver Tammy Kanat has fast been on the rise as an artist whose practice investigates colour, rhythm and balance. Through a decade of experimentation, expression and evolution, the artist has developed her signature impressionistic approach to colour and texture. Consistently challenging the binaries of weaving through her playful questioning of limits, Kanat expresses colour and form through wool, silk and yarn.
