Artist Fernando do Campo has been comissioned by Bundanon to create an artwork for Siteworks 2022: From a deep valley.
The exhibition draws on climate research, critical thinking, First Nations knowledge and technologies and creative digital spaces, through a program of outdoor installations, performances, workshops, talks, and digital artworks.
The exhibition considers the concept of the weather report, used to map both environmental and emotional spaces. It positions the artist as a kind of weather balloon, capturing ‘weather reports’ from this place and time.
