Darren Fry is a designer and maker with a focus on furniture, lighting and objects. He is based in Adelaide and works from his private studio. Darren is known for his ability to design and create immaculate pieces that reflect an aesthetic of contemporary elegance. His work has been part of national and international exhibitions and he has been recognised for his designs by a range of institutions.
With a career spanning more than twenty years, Darren has been committed to creating pieces that complement beautiful spaces and leave a lasting impression. With the highest quality materials from Australia and across the globe, he consistently demonstrates an ability to capture a subtle refinement and purity in his designs. Fry is currently studying a Master of Visual Arts and Creative Practice at the University of South Australia. He has been involved in a variety of national and international exhibitions including Indigo Slam, Private Residence, 2016; Chatoyance, Sturt Gallery, 2018; Milan Design Week - DesignIN, Lambrate Design Precinct, 2018; Workshopped 18, Australian Design Centre, 2018; Studio Furniture 18, Bungendore Gallery, 2018; Luminous, Jam Factory Gallery, 2019.
